I have a Droid 2 global that I rooted two days ago. Last night I received the OTA update for gingerbread. I have tried to install the update but this always fails because Clockmod Recovery boots up when the phone is rebooted and causes it to fail. I have done a factory reset of the phone and unrooted it but everytime it boots up, Clockmod Recovery still boots and messes up the update. Is there anyway I can go back to completely stock 2.2 and get rid of the root, clockmod, and superuser so I can install the 2.3 update. Then I think I will root 2.3 once I am successfully updated.
Thanks
