Help Droid 2 haptic feedback

I turned it off, and the touch keys still vibrate. Is this normal,

I never tried to turn it off. I like it. There was another topic where people were talking about but I don't remember where it is. You might be able to search for it.

Swype is turned on, but the soft keys still vibrate.

Are you talking about the soft keyboard or the actual touch keys at the bottom of the phone?

It's a known bug--currently there is no way to turn haptic feedback off for the soft keys.

I did turn on the vibrator (couldn't resist), but quickly turned it back off. No problem.
