Droid 3 Metropcs PRL's help

Lurker
I have a Droid 3 that was successfully flashed to Metropcs. Everything worked initially except MMS.

The flash was perform by an MetroPCS affiliate store that is more than 40miles from me. I have had to take it that location 3x in the last 5months to have the PRL manually updated.

That is a lot of miles to drive. I want to do this myself. I have scoured the web on various forum sites and youtube trying to discover how to manually update MetroPCS PRl's on my Droid 3.

My Droid 3 is not rooted so it just has stocked Motoblur 2.3.4 Gingerbread rom.

Can anyone help me or point me in the right direction?

does moto have software similar to lgpst or qpst? or maybe lookup cdma workshop and see if it works with the moto... if any of those work all you need is your spc code. you can get it by a free app called meid converter in the play store... after that theres a tab in cdma workshop that is named roam and you can flash prl files to your phone via your computer....

Edit: i just did a search and my initial search says that the droid 3 does work with cdma workshop.... your task just got a lot simpler.... i would start there....

To get MMS to work you have to install an messaging app and chnage the size and server setting there. For example i can only send MMS from my "Android Messaging" app not the stock mesaging app. I had this app install and set up by a guy that flashes phone down here in central florida so i am not sure where or how he got the app and i have tried to extract and install on another phone and it keep saying unauthorize install.
