Help droid 4 help

I recently purchased a droid 4. All of a sudden I can only hear if I put the phone on speaker. Once on speaker, I can shut off speaker and then hear fine. Any suggestions?

No suggestions and no help but my son's does the same thing. I read somewhere that there was supposed to be a fix coming but haven't heard anything more.

when i googled it, it seems like this issue has existed for a while with the droids, can't beleive there is not a fix yet
