Help droid 4 security issue

I just got my droid 4 today and I love it.....except when the phone is "locked" i can access the camera. From the camera, I hit the home button, and I'm in. Ive tried it with a touch pattern, a numerical pin, and a password. Anyone know a fix to this that does not entail downloading an app? Thanks for any help you guys might be able to give.



Update---My mistake. The timing on the security lock was set to max, and i wasnt giving the phone time to lock. Picked it up this morning and it was locked so i looked at the time settings. Sorry for the false alarm.

We are glad you have joined us.

I moved this into the Droid 4 forum, so that others with the same phone may be able to help with this issue.
 
I find the lock screen to be about the most annoying aspect of these devices. I tried a lot of solutions and finally found the NoLock app on Play Store. It allows me to turn the locking off entirely. It has a widget you can put on your home screen to toggle locking on and off.

I run this app on the Bionic and Droid X flawlessly. I don;t have a Droid 4 to verify it on.

You might want to chck it out.
