Droid camera problems

My son just got the Droid X and his indoor pictures are perfect. My Droid pictures ar washed out looking. Is there a better setting to get indoor pictures.

I would like to know the same. I changed the setting to the 'indoor' but it doesn't help. The pictures aren't good. However, outdoor pictures are great.

I turn off the flash inside unless it's dimmly lit.

My indoor and outdoor video's look like the old 8mm home movies where the lighting and colors fade in and out. Kinda a neat look, but doesn't do much for when I'm looking for clear shots. The still pic's with the camera work great. Granted I'm a newbie with my X, but they look great on the screen when I'm recording, but when I play them back, or convert them and put them on a dvd, they take on a whole different look.
