Droid Doesnt

I've been having problems the last few days not receiving calls:

Few calls come in, when people call, they hear it ringing and then eventually voicemail - sometimes I get the voicemail right away, sometimes I'll get 3 voicemails at once an hour later.

If I'm already on a call, I ALWAYS get the call on the other line. I have no problems whatsoever making outgoing calls.

Verizon insists there's a problem with my phone and we need to do a reset (erase everything, start from scratch), while to me, it seems pretty obvious that its a problem with their network...

Any ideas/advice? Thanks in advance!

Its their network, been acting way weird the past couple of days.

its probably because the droid x just came out and the servers are overloaded.

Not a single issue where I am in NY. No dropped/missed calls or network congestion for internet.

DRRROOOIID. It's not the Droid, but better yet, the network. Everyone wants vzw and they're coming onboard.

Have not had similar problems in upstate NY.

Out of curiosity everyone that is saying the network - are you assuming? or do you have a source for that?

It sounds to me like it is a problem with the phone. I recall reading of some folks having similar issues a while back that a new phone resolved.

It was definitely the network, it's been working fine since Monday - no problems. Glad I didn't reset the phone...
