Droid Eris App Takeover!

Im sure the phone doesnt have a virus but I seem to have installed an app that opens/accesses other apps.

I use Task Killer and I will kill all the apps. I wont touch the phone and 10 minutes later there are 16 apps in the list to kill even tho I didnt open any of them.

How to I find this app and make it go away? Or is there a setting I can use?

Settings>Applications>Manage Applications> Scroll down to the App, select it and select delete.

What app was it so I'm sure not to D/L it?

Those are probly the phone's core apps. They MUST run. Post a pic or names of the apps. I recommend not using a task killer. It is hard on your phone.

I just joined androidforums so I am learning so much!! if task killer is too hard on my droid eris what should i use?
