just an fyi as a fellow eris seller i came a cross this website from verizon that in working condition you can get $132 of vzw credit for your eris. https://www.trade-in.vzw.com/ which is pretty decent if you ask me. i just bought an incredible and put it on my accout so im gonna use the credit to pay for my Dinc

Well congratulations. I am loving my X right now. I was looking for an Eris for my daughter a few weeks ago but didn't find anything appealing so we picked up something else but I would have bought your Eris in a heartbeat. Pictures look great!

Yes, wifi will work but I was unable to access the market via wifi on my deactivated Incredible.

I have a good question. Does anybody know if you could use this unactivated device on wifi and use VOIP to place or receive a phone call? It should totally be possible right? I have never used any kind of VOIP before so I am not sure but in my mind it should work....
