Droid Incredible.. Fail?

Today I got my droid incredible. I synced it with my computer and when i unplugged it, the phone started messing everything up (Like not taking pictures with the camera anymore, etc). So I restarted the phone. Turns out at some point, the phone resent ALL of the text messages that I had sent within the last few days (Ones from the old phone that were transferred over and ones from the incredible).

Any idea why this happened?
 
Now I have it plugged in and syncing with the computer again (Doubletwist) and i received a few text messages but the power/lock button wont turn the screen on.. Waiting for the sync to finish then possibly popping the battery.
 
Sounds like it's defective. Not seeing anything like that with mine, despite very heavy use.
 
Anybody else having trouble with syncing with doubletwist? When I sync music to the SD card it doesn't show up on the phone.. and during syncing it wont always let me use the phone because the screen wont unlock.
 
I concur with the previous posts regarding it being a defective unit. I have had mine since Thursday and synchronized with no problem at all.
 
i watched my friend setup his droid incredible, and he didn't seem to have a problem. i suppose to you might want to get it replaced through buyers remorse.
 
I've had mine since launch and haven't had any problems like that. You probably just have a lemon. take it in for a replacement.
