Droid Incredible Overheat

I have the Incredible, Virtuous Rom 3.1, stock kernel. Im very new to rooting and using roms and was curious if the rom or kernel could be causing my problem. Over the past two weeks I have had sporadic rebooting and the phone gets pretty warm. Not sure what could be the cause. I have had it reboot almost once a day. Each time it feels a little warm. Any feedback is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Nandroid...switch roms and kernel and see if the problem continues. If it stops, do a full wipe and switch back to virtuous and see if it starts again.
