Droid screen took a crap...

Just my luck, a week after I got my Droid...I fkn dropped it in water! Talk about wanting to be physically ill. Anyways, got it all dried out and it worked fine again. THANK GOD!

Zoom just over a month passes...

Well...today I turned some music on and went for a bike ride. I get home and took my phone out of pocket and tried to turn screen on to unlock it...screen won't work. FML Anyone else have screen issues??? My other concern would be that the top part of phone, now gets really warm...I'm guessing that's not normal.

So, my next question is...how hard was it to get a new phone thru verizon??? I have insurance, attempted to call them a little bit ago but they don't have tech support after 11pm.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!

A tech instore might (with mgr approval) swap it for the price of your deductible. Otherwise you are supposed to go thru insurance.

I don't mind paying the deductible...I just question will they still do it for deductible price even tho I dropped it in water?

oh yeah water damage is covered. I've seen people run the phone over with a lawn mower and get it replaced.

I did a couple of years ago. My wife works there now.
