Help droid water damage odd glitches

mcfx2

Lurker
my droid phone, recently went for a swim and was completely submerged for several seconds. it worked fine, save a buggy touch screen, then suddenly turned off. i tried to turn it back on, but nothing appears on screen. when i plug un my phone with the verizon wall adapter and a charging cord with an led on the end, at first the virtual buttons would flicker, now the led blinks very fast and the wall adapter light doesnt come on. quite important, i have school tomorrow and need my phone there. i have removed the sim card and tray, that area of the phone got wet. i tried numerous tutorials but none work. based on this evidence i beleive my screen is busted, with complications elsewhere. the power button feels very cool to the touch, though the water was warm, there us definetely water behind thenpower button. i have no rice, any suggestions?

Please, take the battery and cards (Sim, SD) out and put the phone in a bowl of rice. The rice will absorb all the moist. Leave it there for 48 hours.
Don't be in a hurry, like you need the phone today. It is out of service for today and tomorrow, if you seriously want it to survive the dive.
