Alright... so I have had my Droid X for a while, and like everyone, I have had issues with battery life. More importantly however, my phone has decided that it will not recognize chargers. It DOES charge. It will charge plugged into a wall, or plugged into a PC. My PC will NOT recognize it as a phone though, in addition to the battery symbol lacking it's little charge graphic.
I took my phone to Verizon...they wiped it [which sucked]...and the problem persisted. I have not yet had time to try to get a new phone, but honestly I think it's the micro-USB port that is broken in some way.
Has anyone had a similar issue and found a software fix? I have searched around some and most people either had bad chargers [two brand new ones, sorry] or had driver issues with their computer, problems I do not have.
Any and all advice is appreciated.
