Help Droid X2 Issues! :(

Well, I just got this used Droid X2 from my friend cause he switched to iPhone, The issue i am having with it is that when I goto make a call with it, The earpiece doesnt work at all! I tried doing a Factory Reset and everything I could possibly think of, When I make a call the speaker phone part works just fine, just the ear piece is being a pain in the tooshy

P.S. it was working 100% ok when My friend gave it to me a few weeks ago, I should know cause I used it to call my old phone a few times lmao

If any one has any information on this issue, I would be forever grateful!

could be a hardware failure, if so the fix maybe more trouble than it's worth
if it's software,and factory reset did not fix, try flashing .sbf moto's factory image restore file
two options
a) .sbf, rsd Lite, and moto drivers
b) ezSBF for DX2
downloads at ezSBF/ RSD lite/ SBFs/ moto drivers by 1KDS
