hi, so i got my droid x2 like 3 months ago cause i wanted an unlimited data plan, i was planning on buying another smart phone later on while keeping my unlimited data plan. so i checked my Verizon website and i can get an upgrade obviously i want the galaxy nexus. the question is, im planning on giving my droid x2 to my bro but he doesnt have internet on his line, does he need to get a data plan or can he just activated and use wifi instead of verizons data, thanks for the help!!
