That's device information not agreed to in the permissions and not advertised in advance.

The changelog says they pop up a cookie consent message.

No. No they don't.

They pop up the link I posted and let you know that they've already done it.

Buh bye, Transparent Clock and Weather, you were my favorite for years but I'm not putting up with that abuse.

Same thing with 3D Flip Clock and weather. I've been using both. Hmmm. Looks like AccuWeather+ AKA AccuWeather Platinum is still ad free but I don't see a home screen widget with Time and Weather for it anywhere.

I hate AccuWeather by itself, not always reliable.

Weather Underground has widgets and with them I know what I'm in for. Ugly widgets though.

Won't be enough, I had Transparent launching 3 different weathers, radar and time.

So - going to have to do some experimenting now.

I have Digital Clock - it's transparent but doesn't show weather.
NOAA has a couple of widgets. You'd have to look in Play Store. Most services use the NWS anyway.

Those other weather apps said BBC. I've tried EU apps, they seem to have more info but leave the stuff like wind speed and jet stream out for the US.
