Help DROPBOX HTC Promo problems...

Hello all... I'm sure I'm not the only one whose having problems getting my bonus HTC cloud space on Dropbox.... I am entitled to it because I have bought the HTC One X and it's got Sense 4.0...

Had my phone now for more than a week and still after registering, re-registering, rebooting going through the guide etc..still no luck...

Anyone had similar problems and if so, have you succeeded yet?

I too got a little frustrated by this.

Follow the link and you have to complete 5 of 7 tasks.

As soon as you have completed 5, your extra free space is awarded.

One task is to invite someone to sign up to dropbox. However, inviting is enough, they don't have to actually join for you to complete the task.

If you know enough people you can get an extra 16gb on top of the 25gb

Yes but the 5 out of 7 task page only says you can increase by 250mb ???
What did it say on yours?

mine is now at 25.75gb got an extra 250mb by completing 5 steps & an extra 500mb because a friend installed dropbox on his pc.
I did read that you could get an extra 16gb free by introducing friends so to get the whole lot i need another 31 friends to install dropbox on their pcs

I already have a dropbox account so have previously completed all the getting started steps. I have raised a ticket with dropbox but no response from them yet, any other suggestions?

Set up a new email with google, and use that to register. Can you change the email after and cancel the other dropbox account then?
You won't get 25 gb on top of what you already have.

Hello all.. just to mention... I finally got my extra space...
After Dropbox support finally got back to me, it seems that because I must have registered with another email address prior to HTC shinnanigans it conflicted with my membership... so they deleted said email address and told me to unlink device and reboot and then go back in.... Yep now I've got it... phew! Only for 2 years though lol.... what the hell am I gonna do after that... not gonna pay for storage...
