Dropbox Sync help

Hello, I have just started using dropbox for my android phone. loving it!

I do however have one question

Is there a way where i can see where the files went to on the phone?
I would like to be able to find a way to browse these files without having to root my phone to do it.

I'm, trying to get to a music file and its not showing up in my media library or anything

I went to look for them a few days ago and couldnt find anything.

I am running android 2.1

Did you click on your Dropbox icon by chance? It's the same view as on the computer. And they go in a directory/folder called Dropbox.

Dropbox on your phone handles some files differently from how it does on your computer. It doesn't download them automatically.

there are plenty of file explorers available on the market...I use OI and it works just fine

Just tried it, it worked all i needed to do in the first place was to re-mount the sd card... Ill keep the OI browser tho, really handy tool, thanks once again

For what it is worth, I tried DB with music files and decided that it was easier to simply drag and drop them from my computer to my phone using the USB cable ('turn on USB storage').

DB was a bit of a hassle since you had to go into each file and select it individually - much quicker to just dump them all across in a big hit using the computer.
