Dropbox

I have been using Dropbox for some time. Recently when I try to open an important work file that is 3.4MB it will go through the download screen then it goes to the app that opens the xlsx file. It gets hung up around 90 percent. It gives the message "memory full". What happened to my file?

I can access the file from any computer, but it is important to open this file on dropbox on my phone. I can not open the file with any app on my phone also for what its worth. They all read the same message. I have tried to open a similar file of similar size and it opens fine. I have uninstalled and deleted any associated files on my cellphone that pertain to Dropbox and reinstalled the app on my phone. The issue remains.

HELP.

Wow...I've stumped the panel. I guess this is a one time issue. I know the problem of "memory full" is a tough problem to nail down. Is it a hardware issue(phone) I dont think so because I can open other files larger in size. Is it a phone memory problem? Again I dont think so because I can open a larger file right after I encounter/close out the important work file I cant open. I think the problem lies in an app. But then again I cant be sure because no matter what app I try to open the document up with, it wont open. It keeps giving the "memory full" message. So that only leaves me with one problem...the actual document itself. Is is possible the document could be corrupted on just an adroid phone. I can open the document through dropbox on any other computer I try.

Interesting...

How is your overall phone memory? What percentage of your overall Dropbox memory are you using?

I use Dropbox quite heavily, and have not seen this problem, so I am stumped.
