dropped HTC desire S, now won't do anything

I dropped my HTC Desire S onto stone, it worked for a moment, then froze and shut down. It will charge, but nothing else - won't turn on at all/
What can I do?

Sorry about the damage to your phone! Unfortunately, no two drops are the same, and unless you took your phone apart, you would be unable to determine the extent of the damage.

There are a couple of things to try. You could pull the battery for several minutes and see if that helps you reboot it. You could also put it in the freezer to try to solidify a possible broken connection.

However, it sounds like the hardware in the phone is broken to some extent and won't ever be the same.
