Help Dual boot Windows 10/Android

Hello everybody,

I recently bought an interesting item. A Chuwi Hi8 tablet. It intrigued me because it has dual boot, Windows 10 and Android 4.4.4. I bought a 64gb SDXC along with it. I am trying to partition 3 ways. One 40gb partition formatted to NTFS for windows, one 16gb formatted to Fat32 for Android, and one 8 Gb formatted Ext4 for future use with Link2Sd. So far no lucko_O. Am I chasing my tail, or is there a way?

BTW. I've got the card formatted, the problem is Android doesn't recognize it.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

someone correct me if I am wrong, but the entire memory stick must all be formatted the same way.

you can have separate partitions, but those partitions must all be the same format...
otherwise, there is no way to to know where the partitions are in the scheme of things.

windows can handle FAT32 just fine, it does not need NTFS, except to define/access larger partition sizes.

Thanks for the reply. My understanding is that FAT32 has a max partition size of 32Gb so that will work. I really wanted a swap partition though:(. We live and learn. I'll try it now and report my findings.
