Dual firing speakers

I'm hoping that essential releases an update enabling the earpiece to be used as a front-firing speaker. I came from a ZTE axon 7 and boy those speakers were great. Two front-facing speakers that were amazing. If iPhone can do it essential can that's for sure

An iPhone has "front firing" speakers? AFAIK every genuine iPhone has always had a single speaker located somewhere along the bottom edge. And now no headphone jack either, just like the Essential.

The actually have enabled the earpiece to be a front firing speaker since the iPhone 7

Copying HTC again (as they did with the iPhone 6 design ;)).

But it really depends on whether the earpiece is designed to be used that way (output and tuning). If not then software isn't going to be enough to make this work.
