Dual SIM vs Single SIM battery usage

I am preparing to buy a OP3, and have a question that I have not seen addressed or asked, if I missed it, sorry. Is there a significant or noticeable difference in battery life when using 2 sims, as opposed to only 1? I plan to use only 1 sim for DATA, and both for phone calls and texts. Can I set up 1 sim to only be active with a specific user account? So calls or texts will NOT be announced or acknowledged with the main Android user? So I do NOT want both SIMS to be active on main Android account.

I believe that battery life will take a slight hit if you use both of the sim slots. It's not rocket science and it's obvious.

I'm not familiar with OP3 phone but from what I know only one sim can be used for data, the other will automatically be call and SMS only. On some phones both sim slots are data compatible, others have a specific slot for data, but the principle remains the same. Please feel free to prove me wrong.
