I've noticed that the sound is out of sync on some videos on the Lenovo, but when I watch the same videos on an IPad its okay. Any ideas on how to fix this please??

If you're using the stock Lenovo video player, it's not that good. Try VLC or MX Player instead.

I'm using cinema box; i have the app on an Ipad as well and the sound is fine on that
I don't know that one, never heard of it. It could be the Android version has an issue or bug with sound-sync or lip-sync, maybe on this particular Lenovo, and so it needs fixing by the app developers. Probably worth emailing them about it.
I presume the app doesn't have any user setting for sound-sync, I know VLC does, because occasionally sound-sync can be off on ripped movies.
