Dummy contact lists for other apps?

Invasive apps like Waze or Alexa require access to your contacts to enable certain features. Is there a way to control which contact lists certain apps have access to so I don't have to share my entire contact list?

There is no way you can ask the phone to give access only specific contacts. If the contacts you want to keep safe are not many them save them in a .txt file and copy and paste the number to the dialer app whenever need.
