duplicates in pure calendar

I'm a very happy user of the great apppure calendar, Ihave it set to automatically sync with my HTC google calendar, and when it does, it seems to duplicate almost everything, which is very annoying. Is there anything I can do to avoid this? Thanks

i have almost the same problem. with the facebook calendar sync, some birthdays duplicate, but not all. also, some dates are one day behind and the times are wrong. possibly to do with my timezone? (australia)
