DZ09 your thoughts please

TTOG

Lurker
I've just ordered a cheap and cheerful android watch simply called DZ09.
Does anyone else have one of these? If so what are your thoughts?
It seems to do almost all the things a standalone phone can do, but at a fraction of the cost.
I look forward to your replies. o_O

Sim card and SD card are something not found on typical A.W. watch (although sim card probably not needed)

According to the video, it seems to also have camera and built in speaker... more things not on an A.W. watch.

The RAM and cpu are a lot less than typical A.W. phone.
RAM is 128+64 Mbits if we believe the link. Typical A.W. has at least 512Mbytes where a byte is 8x as big as a bit, which would make A.W. about 25x larger. I suspect that page listing bits may have been a typo though.

Whether the power-house specs of A.W. cpu/ram are really needed for typical core smartwatch functions is debatable. It's probably needed for voice recognition which I imagine is one of the few things your watch doesn't do.

For $30 bucks or so, you can't go wrong.
Enjoy it and let us know how you like it.
