E-mails

I cannot get my Galaxy 10.1 Tablet to keep/store my e-mails. It keeps dumping them from my inbox within minutes to sometimes two or three days after receipt. Please advise the procedure to prevent uncontrolled dumping of e-mails from the inbox. I need to keep several of the e-mails I receive for later reference and use.

Can anyone help?

Hi Vin, welcome to Android Forums.

First, I think this will help if you are using G-mail. In my settings, I have an option for general settings and email specific settings. In the email specific settings, there is a category for data sync... then an option in there for amount of emails to pull in. Mine is at 30 days.

I'd wager that the other email program has a similar setting. Hope that helps,
