From the coverage I've seen, it seems like a lackluster year. I guess next year will be the big one with Sony and MS announcing the new systems. Wii U is ridiculous to me. However, obviously there were still some promising games shown:

Beyond: Two Souls -from the makers of Heavy Rain and starring Ellen Page, I'm looking forward to this one the most.

The Last of Us- I love survival games. Raw Danger and Disaster Report on PS2 were some of my favorites.

Dead Space 3-no explanation needed for this one.

Assassins Creed 3- the Revolutionary War setting is inspired. Could be very cool.

And a bunch of other sequels (God of War, Gears of War, etc.). Granted, I haven't followed E3 super closely this year, I'm probably missing a lot. Anybody see anything interesting they want to mention? What are you guys looking forward to the most?
 
Halo 4, I'm a massive fan of the Halo series.

Watch Dogs looks amazing and I also liked The Last of Us, but as it's looking to be a PS3 exclusive, I doubt I'll get to play that.
 
Omg Halo can't wait, I purchased an XBOX and PS3 I don't like having to choose whether I will be playing the exclusive and which console
 
I like the God of War games, but would rather rent them than buy because they are rather short and I rarely re play games. Not interested in the multi player they are shoehorning into this one.
 
I really enjoyed darksiders 1 so Darksiders 2 is one that i cant wait for!

Definatly +1 on the Assasins creed 3.
 
I thought it was lackluster this year as well. I had a feeling, which is why for the first time in 5 years I haven't gone. Next year should be interesting for all parties involved (consoles should see PS4 and XBox 720 (obviously not final names). PC Gaming Cryengine 3 should be all over the place as well as ID's new engine.
 
I know, I know, I'm playing god by resurrecting a thread - but, OMFG, I cannot wait for Watch Dogs. Day one pickup.

Console or PC? Apparently The Xbox version is going to make use of Xbox Smartglass and the stuff you user your phone for in game, you'll actually be able to use your real phone for.

I don't really know what it actually is, but Windows 8 has smartglass compatability, so the PC version may be the same.
 
It's like a 2nd screen/Remote Control for your Xbox. You can control the dashboard with it and use it as a keyboard for IE.

You can also use it to bring up additional content in game, so if you look at a building/info point etc, you'll get details on whatever you're looking at via your phone.

I can't get the additional content stuff to work though.
