Help Earphone mic volume is very low in my phone. Any fixes?

Its Lenovo Z2 Plus. It used to work well before. Now, the issue is, people on the other end of phone call are not able to hear me properly while I'm using earphone plus voice recording through earphone mic results in too feeble sound. I've tried this with several earphones. I am using custom ROM AEX now. I think after I have changed to this rom, the mic problem has started. I prefer not to change rom again and again, for I have to spend more time adjusting settings and installing apps and login into all of them, also apps like GPay, Phone Pe may not work. Any solutions for this?

Sounds like could be a buggy ROM then? If it can't be adjusted in settings, could be the only fix is to use a ROM that doesn't have this issue? Have you reported it to the ROM developers?

No, I have not yet reported to the developers since I have not found similar issues from anyone till date. So I suppose, this might be some configurations issue which can be adjusted and fixed. There is no such options in settings though.

Go into your settings to Advance Calling. Turn off the HD video/audio. (used by some on messenger face talk ugh). Worked for me.
