Help Earpiece volume

I have a desire s at the moment. Although its primarily there to use for tethering I notice that the ear piece volume is quite low. What is the ear piece volume like on the one x?

I use a bold 9900 as main phone, that has a loud volume, so brill in noisy environments, but thinking of ditching both phones and just having 'one"..... Pun intended.

What's the ringtone volume like too?

Vibrate strength?

Earpiece volume is fine. My Mrs has been on hands free in the car and I've been at home with kids tv on and a wee one going crazy in the background and whilst it wasn't the best convo we've had, I could generally hear her with minimal problems.

Ringtone volume is good, but I came from a Desire HD and the external speaker on that was terrible so I might think it's better than it is.
