This general method has been being passed around for quite some time now.
But this is easier (at least a little)
1. Download Kingroot.
http://kingroot.net/root
2. Install the APK. (make sure you have unknown sources enabled)
3. Make sure all running applications are closed
4. Open KingRoot
5. Press the button to root the device.
It will fail quite a few times before it actually works. When it fails, it will reboot the device. Every time it fails just repeat steps 3, 4, and 5 until it successfully completes the root.
For me I had to try it about eight times before it actually worked.
The other method is the same, but it tells you to install a benchmarking app and do some confusing stuff with that before rooting. It's not necessary, and this works just fine.
I've done this on both my device and a completely clean stock version, both from MetroPCS.
Have fun with your rooted fierce 2.
