Hey guys i googled for this question a little bit but didn't find the answer. I'm just got my HTC incredible but coming from a blackberry tour. Love it so far. Anyways, i digress. The one thing i really liked about when you opened the desktop app on your system it would show you how much data you have used for the current session: up/down/total. Is there a way to show this on easytether? Or is this something maybe PDANet will show and not easy tether?

On a side note, i just downloaded easytether lite from the android marketplace. Your not supposed to be able to access HTTPS sites so its one of the first things i tried and guess what? Its working perfectly for me unless there is some type of trial mode when you first download it and after maybe 30 days i won't be able to. I don't know just know its working perfectly now.

So i have a question for anyone who has a suggestion. I have installed the free trial of easytether for android, and it seems to be defective. I have installed the application on my computer and on my smart phone and it doesnt seem to work at all. I have enabled the usb and connected it to my computer as stated in the instructions. Is there is something else that i did not do in order for this application to work????? Any advice will be greatly appreciated

Security

change the "S.IP DUN User Name" to "<your phone number>@vzw3g.com"
hit back
scroll down to "M.IP Default Profile"
change "DUN NAI" to "<your phone number>@vzw3g.com"

The phone will power cycle.

Step 2: Computer setup

Drivers:download and install VZ Access Manager from http ://www .vzam .net
don't run the program, you only want it for the drivers.

Next, plug your phone in to the computer. Let windows take care of the driver installation.

Per your version of windows, you'll need to set up a manual dial-up networking connection. Settings you'll need:

Phone Number: #777
Username: "<your phone number>@vzw3g.com"
Password: vzw

Step 3:
browse theinternet.
