Ebay App

I have the Ebay app on my HTC Desire with Orange. When I select the message button and select a message from the list at random, the respond button and ebay logo etc are missing from the message. They appear for a split second and then go for good. There is no way to reply to the message. Any ideas please?

There should be an arrow on the bottom bar, touch it and it will bring up a text box to reply to the message.
