Help EC10 and EE19 Help

So this is one of my first posts outside of the introduction page and I was hoping this question could be answered...

Is there a patch/update available for the Android 2.2 update I did a few months back? Because if this is the EC10 patch that everyone I noticed is calling the "missed call" patch then I would like to fix it as soon as I can. Did USCC release the EE19 as an update or is that an older patch?

What can I do, basically, that will fix the "missed call" update?

I have not attempted to connect my phone to Kies since the last update in case anyone is wondering.

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Thanks guys!

EE19 is the latest update available, and it is the one USCC released to address the missed call issue.

Unfortunately, its a give something/take away something update.

Many of us who have had both EC10 and EE19 (myself included) are reporting dramatically weaker 3G and Cell signal strength.

If you do get the update, I highly recommend taking it to a tech center at a USCC store and have them apply it as a reflash.

It does factory wipe your phone, so it is a little bit of a hassle, but it seems to have less issues than doing the update with mini kies.

Alright, I will try that out. Hopefully this will fix the issue then. And I hope I'm getting the right idea by the "missed call" bug... My impression was that it had to do with the phone have signal in any area and would never light up/ring to show a phone call coming through and it would either go straight to voicemail for the caller or continously ring until the voicemail picked up. Am I correct on the symptoms?

If not, then that is what is happening with my phone.

Also, I had an issue a while back before I updated to Android 2.2 and I am experiencing a bit of an issue with 2.2 resulting in lack of performance on the screen. Before updating, the alignment of the touch screen was thrown completely off. When I went to swipe the screen to unlock it or even use the Swype keyboard, the trails would show that the lines I was making were obscured all over the screen rather than in the straight line I wanted it to. After reformatting the phone the problem went away and I have not had that issue since. However, after updating to 2.2, I noticed that on occasion I would attempt to press specific keys on the Android Keyboard and they would not respond. Specificly, the more constant keys that are affected are the 'I' key in portrait mode and the 'O', 'B', and 'E' keys in landscape mode. I have not spoken to a USCC representative about this issue yet, as it really has not bothered me much, but I was wondering if others had the same issue with the Mesmerize?
