Edit Sync Groups causes force close of acore

"I went to settings -> applications -> manage apps -> contacts and cleared the cached/data
I did the same in settings -> applications -> manage apps -> contacts storage
I was then able to edit my sync group, deselect "sync all" and choose just "my contacts" without force closing. I ran the data sync manually and now my gmail contacts are the only ones listed which is what I wanted.
I did have a group called "clients" which is not selected but those were synced as well. Probably "My Contacts" for gmail will sync every contact under gmail which is okay. As long as my exchange contacts are no longer synced."
