Edit the Default Browser

My LG Optimus V on the Virgin Mobile service has a decent browser but I would like to get a better one such as the Dolphin HD to get a more enriched we experience. Does anyone know how I can remove or replace its default setting with the Dolphin HD browser? Thanks.

Root is needed to remove system apps. You can go to application settings and go to the browser then hit the remove defaults button then when you launch dolphin you can set it to default.
