How do I edit my profile on here-- add pics and stuff?

You'll be able to do it all in the User CP, which you'll see there's a link to at the top left of the forum. If you look at the bar full of options on the left, there's an option to 'Edit Profile Picture', which is the picture shown when viewing somebodies profile (like this) and 'Edit Avatar', which is the image shown to the left of all your posts and messages.
You'll also the option to 'Edit Signature' in there, although that feature won't unlock until you have 25 pots. You can fill out all the information below your avatar under the 'Edit Your Details' option.
