lol @ 5.64fps on Moto Milestone!

Badly needs apps2sd though (might affect performance though?)

Jeez, looks like the older phones really are going to struggle with this, about time a decent benchmark was available.

I doubt it would make a difference where it's installed.

Go on then, show of the S2's numbers :p

I'm getting that phone next month anyway, so not too worried about my current measly 5fps

this was the last big game release for winmo 6.5 i believe...i remember seeing it on the hd2 running smooth as butter wishing my tilt could run it

That is amazing but somehow this does not look like it is running on GPU, hardware accelerated...nice but I have seen other stuff run better.
Anyways...
Average FPS 19.82 at (800x480)
Time 60.03
Number of Frames 1190
Triangle Count 48863
Preak TriangleCount 66766

Quite a beast the Galaxy s 2

Glad to have a new benchmark now and it seems great things are coming for it later as well.

Fun benchmark tool. Tried it earlier on my rooted Incredible and got a whopping 6.11 fps. I can't wait to upgrade to a Galaxy s2 (if a version comes to Verizon) or Bionic in a few months.

- OMAP34xx (Motorola Droid, SGX530 @ 110MHz): 5fps WVGA
- OMAP3630 (my Defy, SGX530 @ 200MHz): 10fps WVGA
- Hummingbird (Nexus S, SGX540 @ 200MHz): 17fps WVGA
- Hummingbird with Rys' special driver (Nexus S, SGX540 @ 200MHz): 19fps WVGA
- Exynos 4210 (Galaxy S II, Mali400 MP4 @ ??): 37fps WVGA
- MSM7230 (T-Mobile G2, Adreno 205 @ ??): 17fps WVGA
- Tegra 2 (Optimus 2X, Geforce ULV 2 @??): 16fps WVGA
- MSM7227-1 "Turbo" (Galaxy Ace, Adreno 200 @ ??): 10fps 480*320

Took these results from anther forum, seems tegra 2 doesnt like this benchmark.

That, or Tegra's just not particularily strong

Tegra trades blows with powervr 540 depending on the game or benchmark so it is strong just not a true upgrade from what the Galaxy S is GPU wise thus why I decided to skip it and wait for Galaxy S 2 and what the Tegra 3 will offer.
I still feel this benchmark should be running better but who knows.
