I know this sounds odd but when I plug in the usb charger cable or if the connector shifts slightly while charging gives off a loud popping noise. Anyone else experiencing the same?

OH like if you plug te phone on charge it makes noiseNot the wall socket and switched out two different Chargers with same result. the popping sound is at the port connector on the phone's end and where its plugged into the charger/plug which I've plugged into several wall sockets as well as an extension.
No roaches in the phone

No it isn't a sound setting or a file played while plugging in. it is an actual electrical spark - pop like a loud static.OH like if you plug te phone on charge it makes noise
you can disable the sound with Xposed modules like gravitybox or so
oh i tought it was that, sorry pls specify it well so people can understand thank youNo it isn't a sound setting or a file played while plugging in. it is an actual electrical spark - pop like a loud static.
Thank you. Thats exactly what i feel is the issue and this is a replacement from when my original $1,000 phone totally lost volume . ATT or Samsung could resolve.Obviously your phone is defective since it didnt do this on day one. Your USB port is likely loose /faulty and if you keep using the pone you risk damaging your phone, your wall outlet, or anything else you connect to your phone.
It’s not a “common problem” and is in fact dangerous.
that's already been done. thus posting the continued issuechange the charging port or so it can work
i agree. i doubt i will get a third replacement at this time and its such an expensive phone to deal with continued problems with a so called flagship device. i will resort to wireless chargingi would cease using the usb port! you have wireless charging which is what I use 98 percent of the time. ive 3 note 9s and the usb ports are still nearly virgin.
Yes sir. i used a can of air to blow the ports clean making sure no dust is presentHave you dusted it off, or checked the teeth to see if that was the problem?
