email and pictures

Hello all! I hope someone can help.

I am using a Samsung Galaxy S. I am having trouble sending email with picture attachment. Seems pretty straightforward right?

There is a catch.

I can send them to my daughter and she gets them just fine, but they aren't coming to my home email or my gmail. What gives? Can't figure that one out.

Any help would be appreciated...

How are you sending them? What email app? Gmail? Pictures from the stock camera?

Yep, stock pics and I am just using the email program that came with the phone, set up with my providers settings. After playing with this for a bit I am thinking that it isn't necessarily related to the picture. I have just tried sending a plain email to myself with no attachment and still nothing. Funny thing is, I have tried also to send from the laptop back to the home address and nothing. I can send and receive from Gmail. It's very strange.

Maybe your email client doesn't download images that it finds to be on your phone already, to save on unnecessary data traffic?

Well if you cant send ANY emails from that account, its likely the account isnt set up properly. I would just use gmail until you get it sorted out.
