Help Email issues for sent emails

I've had my razr for 2 weeks and I have email issues. When I bought it, I added my hotmail and yahoo emails to the mail email app. I can view emails fine and send texts fine, but if I send an email the recipient can't view it even though it shows it in my sent email folder. The only thing the can see is that it came from me and what the subject line says. I went to the verizon store they wiped everything out (ugg) and rebooted it. After all of that it did the same thing once we set my phone back up. We then downloaded the hotmail email app which actually worked while I was at the store, but after I left it now does the same thing as before. Now I have the stock app ad the hotmail app (a mailbox icon with messeges on it) and neither work with sending emails. Please help
