A customer recently switched from the Storm to the LG Ally. He uses hotmail, a work email (pop3), and, now, a gmail account.
When he sends an email from ANY of the accounts the content of the message goes away, and if you hit "reply" (I tested with my Droid, and from our Enterprise based work email) it takes you to a blank message with no address (except for the gmail, that takes you to a message correctly addressed). He can receive emails fine.
At first I thought it was how he entered the server settings, but it's for all 3 accounts, even gmail!
Has anyone heard of this, or have any idea what's going on? Please help. I should also mention that when we got the test messages, the inboxes list "<>" as the sender, except for the gmail account. His email address(es) only show up at the bottom of the message.
Here is what we receive as an email from each account (I x'ed out his and my email address), no matter the content of what he sends:
<xxxxx@jimbos.com>
To: xxxxx@gmail.com
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=utf-8
Content-Transfer-Encoding: base64
