Email question

I tried asking in the app forum but didn't get any answers. Son I figured I'd ask closer to home.
Does anyone use or know of an email app that can assign different notification sounds to emails received from specific people?
I already use Maildroid Pro but it's no longer updated or supported and it's dying fast.

Maildroid and Gmail, here.
It's hard enough for me to keep up with assigned ringtones, much less than emails.

Does Gmail have the same ability as Maildroid with notifications?

That's the problem with most, except Maildroid. I need for each sender si I can tell which are important and which can wait. Thanks for the info.

It's a shame that certain apps are no longer supported. Íve been able to save several of my favorite legacy apps to my MSD.

As long as they keep working, I keep using them.

I do the same. I've used Maildroid Pro for about 5 years. Support was great and he kept improving it. Then he said he lost interest and that was it. Finding a replacement is awful.

Support or not, it is still the only one that syncs up with my RoadRunner email.

I'm still using it too, but I keep getting new issues as time progresses. And I can't find a replacement. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
