Help Email setup (Godaddy) and notification issues

Just got the S3 and I'm trying to set it up and customize it. Currently running into a couple issues:

1. Setting up my email (Godaddy). I have three accounts with my custom domain. I am able to successfully connect and send from two of them. When I try to setup the third account I get one of two errors: Invalid username/password, or unable to connect to the server. I know the u/p is correct. I've tried deleting the setup for that acct and re-entering it. With the same info entered, it doesn't give me incorrect u/p but says it cannot connect to the server. However, it connects to the server with the other two accounts. (All of these occur on the smtp portion of the mail setup.)
2. Installed Nova launcher and Project Glass Icons. I've updated the default mail icon to be the Project Glass Icon. When mail is received I do not get any counts on the icon. Is this something that is expected when using custom icons? Or is it a side effect of the launcher? None of the above?

Any help for a n00b would be appreciated. Thanks!

No tips on email settings? I have been able to add the account, but cannot send from it since the outgoing server has issues.

Hopefully someone knows something about using icon packs and knows if it's possible to have the number of unread emails show up on custom icons....

EDIT: After more playing around, I think I see in Nova where the counts are a part of the paid version. Is that correct?
