email - unable to connect server

[Android Question]

samsung galaxy mini. Email was working fine until yesterday when I dropped phone. Can use internet & all other services, text, phone,apps etc. but when I try to access my emails I get 'unable to connect server'. What have I done - how do I put it right ??

Hi, and welcome.

If everything else is working, I doubt the drop caused a problem.

Try clearing the app cache (go into settings , then apps, then all, then scroll through till you find your email account.

Then reboot.

If that doesn't work, go in and clear the data, then sign in again.
