Emergency access from lock screen

Since updating to Android 8, my emergency details cannot be accessed from the lock screen. In Android 7, the phone icon was on the lock screen and had access to the ICE group only,

In 8, although the phone is on the lock screen, it won't open at all. The other icon on the lock screen is the camera and that does open.

How can ICE be set up to be accessed from the lock screen.

Do you have a lock for the lockscreen? If so, slide the phone app icon and although it brings you to the lock screen, there should be an option under that should say EMERGENCY CALL.
