Empty 'em

How do I get the last out of those spray cans? I hate it when I have to get a new one because the old can quit spraying and there's still plenty left. Can I just open them with a knife or something?

It depends why it's stopped. If it's just that the nozzle has clogged up then you may be able to clear it. If the propellant has leaked of the insides have corroded there won't be much you can do.

Of course it also depends on what is in the can whether it would be useful to get it out other than by spraying. I would not recommend opening a pressurised can with a knife though.

It's different things but especially that disinfectant bathroom cleaner. It's pretty expensive to be wasting it. When it's new it usually comes out pretty easily but when it's older not really. I suspect that when there's more in the can it helps to push out the rest.

The bathroom cleaner's easy as that comes in a spray bottle, well for me at least. Just unscrew the top, poor it on a cloth and clean to your hearts content. As for the cans. I can't talk for budget stuff but if it's from a reputable source like a supermarket then you could put that empty lynx can on a bonfire and it wouldn't explode.
