Emulater Error

Emulater Error
I have been working though the first APP as detailed in Startup up notes. WHen I run try to run the Emulater I get the following Error Message :-

Emulator: emulator: ERROR: x86 emulation currently requires hardware acceleration!

Can anyone suggest how I can setup hardware acceleration ???
